Reflective Blogging
This is where you will be posting your position about an educational issue. You can view other TLITER’s posts on the left column.
You will also be writing reflections and posting them for your colleagues to give feedback on throughout your TLITE journey. You will write 6-10 reflections and hand in a minimum of 3 journal reflections this summer.
Start here
This is where you’ll create a blog post. Note, the difference between a “Post” and a “Page”.
Posts are chronologically ordered content that changes continuously such as journal. You can imbed video, pictures. Etc. Click on Publish (one the right) if you want to share it with others.
Go to Manage if you want to edit your blog after you’ve saved or published it. You can only edit your own posts.
Pages are static and can’t be edited but can be commented on. This is a good place for ex to put a “How To”. You can only add posts to one of your pages. Remember to use Tags to help organize your blog. ie. Social Studies, videos, Homework, etc.
Here is an example of a Blog that you can view as an example for your assignment:

You want to create a blog that connects to a critical educational issue and that elicits a response.
Please add your first name and your blog address to the class wiki. This way, we can create a complete blogroll of participants of this program. your blog domain will be something like
http://(your name).edublogs.org
or http://your name.wordpress.org etc
this is an edit to my post
If you haven’t yet created an Edublogs account click here.
Once you have created an Edublogs account, please email your blog address to julia_leong@sfu.ca. We will then link your account to the main TLITE account here. This way, you are able to view other TLITE participant sites as well. You can also choose to “subscribe” to this blog by giving us your email address to the left. This way you won’t miss anything.
To learn how to write entries, post comments, insert pictures, or explore the many capabilities of Edublogs, click the links above or to the right under “Pages.”
